New YA Fantasy + Cover Reveal

Exciting news! I’ve sold another contemporary fantasy book to Penguin Random House! I’m working with the same team for my debut Gumiho duology on my new fantasy, Gods & Comics!

If you want to learn more or order Gods & Comics, Go HERE!

Grace, a Korean American girl, is dealing with losing her grandmother by anonymously writing and publishing a webcomic based on the myths and legends her grandmother used to tell her about the Korean gods. With the youthful and attractive sun god as the main character. The webcomic ends up going viral and Grace is shocked when the very characters she drew come to life! She has to find out how this happened and how to get the sun god back to his godly realm before he completely flips her life upside down.

I was inspired again by Korean mythology for this one, this time myths about Korean gods. There are different god myths from different regions, but for this story I focused on the tale of Haemosu, the sun god, and his battle with Habaek, the river god. I love stories that explore what would happen if gods came back to life and what they would make of our modern-day world.

Plus, there are some monsters inspired by more Korean legends and a cute animal side-kick! Hope you all enjoy my return to contemporary fantasy when Gods & Comics comes out in Spring 2026!

I am absolutely in love with the cover of Gods & Comics. The art is done by the very talented Robin Har (@saboteur) and the design is by Danielle Ceccolini!

I love all of the elements of this design, especially how Hae is coming out of the comic panels to reach for Grace as she holds her stylus. Plus the storm in the background is not-so-lowkey foreshadowing of a threat in the book!

This article left me hungry for more information in the best possible way and that is not something I say lightly. I came here with a fairly basic understanding of the subject and left feeling both genuinely informed and desperately curious about every thread the author introduced along the way. The writing has a quality that is hard to define but immediately recognisable — it pulls you forward rather than pushing you through and the difference is enormous. I have already spent the past hour searching for more information on several of the points raised here and I do not regret a single minute of it. Thank you for writing something that makes learning feel like an adventure rather than…

I have been thinking about this post all day and I am still not done with it. There is something genuinely unusual about writing that continues to work on you after you have finished reading it and this piece has that quality in abundance. The ideas introduced here are the kind that settle into your thinking quietly and then surface at unexpected moments with new relevance. I shared it with two colleagues this morning and by lunchtime we were still debating one of the points raised in the third section. Content that generates that kind of sustained conversation is extraordinarily rare and the author should be very proud of it. I will be returning to this regularly. Remarkable work!

This was a very enjoyable read. The author presented the topic in a way that felt informative and approachable at the same time. I especially liked how certain sections encouraged readers to seek more details if they wanted a deeper understanding. That makes the article useful for both beginners and experienced readers. The content was organized logically and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing these valuable insights. Great work.

I enjoyed reading the full article because the information felt both relevant and well organized. The topic was explored in a way that kept my attention without becoming repetitive. I also liked the calm and natural tone used throughout the text. Articles written in this style are much easier to follow and understand. The overall structure helped make every section feel meaningful and connected. Definitely an enjoyable read from start to finish.
